We’re involved in the community and strive to be good citizens through our environmental and philanthropic efforts. We're continuing our recycling efforts here at the bakery and we're working with our customers to resuse shipping materials where appropriate. Each effort we make is another step on the road to reducing our footprint. Black Rhino Foundation : BRF is a non-profit organization promoting the preservation of the Black Rhino.

Hillel Center of Northwestern University: provides support and opportunities for students to participate in social action projects, engage in informal learning, celebrate culture, attend religious services and participate in social events.
Garfield Park Conservatory : Celebrating it's 100th year, the conservatory is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a significant horticultural facility and is considered a botanical and cultural treasure. It attracts a wide-range of visitors who can participate in a variety of activities from browsing to classes to exhibits at the 184 acre facility.
Housing Options in Evanston : Housing Options for the Mentally Ill in Evanston offers housing and support services for people with chronic mental illness.
Little Sisters of the Poor : Through it's facilities in Chicago and around the world, LSOP provides care and services for the elderly poor.
Northwestern University Dance Marathon : Currently in its 32 nd year, DM is one of the world’s largest student-run philanthropies. Students fundraise all year to support DM’s beneficiaries and participate in a 30 hour dance-a-thon in March. Over 1000 students, faculty, staff and administrators participate in various volunteer activities to support this Since its inaugural year, DM has raised over $6 million for various charities.
Rogers Park Parents Association: A Chicago neighborhood group enriching the community through family activities and events.
Whole Foods : In cooperation with our client Whole Foods, we supported the Ricky Byrdson Race Against Hate. The walk/run honors the legacy of former Northwestern basketball coach Ricky Byrdsong and works to combat racism, violence and hatred in all its forms. We also supported Whole Foods in their promotion of family farms and sustainable agriculture.
